The article also mentions that Geek Squad is owned by Best Buy. At first I thought that their cred would suffer terribly because of that. But then it occurred to me that the people that would call Geek Squad are probably the same people who would ask for technical advice of a Best Buy salesperson. They’d also probably get duped into buying an extended warranty for a CD.
