    Galaga has been my game of choice. Bought an XBox and put in Galaga — no double-fire option. Piece of shit has been gathering dust ever since.

    You mean your ship can’t be captured then rescued? That’s the only thing that made it not Galaxian.

    no, the speed of firing — think “pew… pew… pew…” vs “pew pew pew pew pew pew”.

    The version of Galaga that was released for the XBox did not include the option and the default is the single speed. That and the fact that Halo gives me vertigo basically turned the box into a doorstop. Anyone need an XBox? Will trade it for games.
