But I mean, really, is that a surprise? That they were polite? The alternative hypothesis is not consistent with, say, I don’t know, being fucking caged up.

    This reminds of the story about the guy selling “sedated Asian babies” out of a briefcase.
    I like that they were also noted to be “well dressed”, as if that is a relevant mental health oucome. They had to sleep in their own pee, but their t-shirts and jeans were well coordinated.
