He didn’t exactly demonstrate the agility or grace of Beast when he took a tumble off the stage at Disneyland last week. It was a total Bob Dole moment.

Great voice for the character though…I am pleased with this.

Yeah, he’ll be able to let lots of pseudoscientific phrases roll off the tongue mellifluously. Score one for the good guys.
I’d reserve final judgment on casting – you never know when they’ll do something moronic and make Vin Diesel Archangel.

    Or Johnny Knoxville as Gambit.

    Wait, that might be good.

Johny Knoxville always looks like he has some kind of autoimmune disorder (dark undereye circles, scrawny as hell).
I thought Harry Connick used to be the default Gambit suggestion. Little long in the tooth these days, though.

I agree with Connick. But actually if you want to see a pretty close Gambit, go see the movie Hard Target starring Jean Claude Van Damme. I hate Van Damme, but crap, he even wears the overcoat.

Are you saying that because Van Damme was in Breakin’?

Vinnie Jones is playing Juggernaut. I guess he’s badass, but too Manchester hooligan-y. My pick, Rowdy Roddy Piper.
