    Perfect for that “dangerous” halloween your parents never let you have. Scythes have lots of uses, even in a modern suburbian’s backyard.

    Interestingly, you can just buy the SNATH. Sounds like a Lovecraft demon, but no, it’s the staff on which you mount the scythe blade.

    Mowing friends? Are there communities of like-minded individuals united by their love of arcane lawn care? This is some fucked up, living-in-the-middle-of-nowhere-in-Idaho, home-schooling-your-kids who are teaching themselves about beekeeping and feudal law, using crystals for deodorant, only leaving the homestead to attend Renaissance fairs shit.

    Unless you count that one year when Amish kids are allowed to “wild out”, although I’m betting they’re not using that time to surf the web for lawn grooming supplies.
