That is so awesome. I bought a plush Grover (complete with satiny cape) for my lab in NY, and it was the coolest toy I ever bought. I should have absconded with it when I left.
Grover was the star of my 2nd favorite book as a child (“The Monster at the End of this Book”).
Grover and the Count: both favorites.
TWO … AH ah ah.
Did you hear that Cookie Monster will be consuming less baked goods this year as part of Sesame Street’s campaign to reduce childhood obesity? I laud the public health perspective, but mourn the crumble spewing gobble.
The Clark Kent coat and additional head are great.
The Monster at the End of this Book was the pinnacle of preschool suspense. My favorite Grover book was Grover and the Everything in the Whole Wide World Museum. When I was 5 my world view was shaped by that book. Everything I came across I would try to shoehorn into one of the categorical rooms in that museum.

The craziest thing is that the Grover painting is by Alex Ross.

I like that the Grover and Everything in the Whole Wide World book has a room devoted to carrots.
