I stumbled upon a list of faux pas grouped by country in Wikipedia. I love what someone put for Kazakhstan:
In Kazakhstan, it is considered an insult for a man to not offer a guest the opportunity to sleep with his sister. It is also considered impolite to turn down such an offer.
