Google “failure”
If you Google the term “failure”, the number one search result is Bush’s bio page at the White House site.
I don’t know how long this will last, so I took a screenshot.
Feckin sweet.

Art School Confidential should be in theaters this month. This is the first I’ve even heard of the movie. Did anyone else know it was coming?
I enjoyed Ghostworld and not just because Thora Birch (dem thangs) was in it, and to a lesser degree, Scarlett Johansson. Mostly because of nunchuck guy…”This is America, learn the rules!”
But I’m curious about this new movie. It’s based on a 4 page comic. Sounds flimsy.

Also from McSweeney’s
A wedding toast by Katie Holmes’ former best friend
A bit:
And it’s just really great about Katie’s involvement with that Scientology thing. Hey, Katie, remember when we used to watch those dumb volcano commercials about it on TV? Huh? Well, um, we did. And it’s just so funny that you’re into something scientific, ’cause we were both, like, so bad at science. Remember that Bunsen burner incident in 10th-grade lab—so not my fault—and then you pretended to make out with that fetal pig? And now you’re totally into science.

Found on McSweeney’s…
A Letter from “The Power” to Public Enemy.
A snippet:
Honestly, guys, I want to end this thing. I’d love to have you up to the country house for a weekend if you have the time. (I know you do, Flavor Flavor! With the big clock and all!) So what’s it going to take? I’d be more than happy to call someone at the post office and get some more of your heroes on stamps. Who would we be talking about—Grandmaster Flashy? Eddy Murphy? M&M? I haven’t been keeping up with your whole scene so just let me know.

Sorta bizarre new comic strip entitled The Perry Bible Fellowship. Some good stuff, that.

Read this.
But I mean, really, is that a surprise? That they were polite? The alternative hypothesis is not consistent with, say, I don’t know, being fucking caged up.

This is a device to dry wet pets. Anyone with an ounce of care for animals would probably cringe at the image. Seriously, they could have designed it to not look like an oven. What came to mind when I first saw this was that scene in The Fly where a similar-looking booth teleported the baboon inside-out.
